The dreamer behind EDGE, Kylie has been chasing international education since she was in elementary school. After studying Cross-Cultural Education in University, she spent three years teaching English in Turkey. During that time she also received her Master's in Applied Linguistics and took several trips to Senegal for informal English teaching. She loves being in the classroom and designing projects and curriculum to make a difference through education in a hurting world.

Senior Advisor for Global Partnerships

Jim has spent the last twenty-five years working in international settings. He earned a BS in Secondary Education, an MEd in History Education, an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction, and then pursued post-graduate study in the field of Cultural Engagement.

Throughout his academic career, he has served as a high school history teacher and university professor, dean, director, and vice president. He currently serves as the Director of International Programs for the Youth Learning Institute of Clemson University (SC) and also teaches in the College of Behavioral, Social, and Health Sciences at Clemson.

His interest in international partnerships has taken him to six continents and over forty countries to lecture at universities, negotiate academic and other partnerships, develop teacher training programs, provide risk management consulting, contribute to ethnographic research projects, and establish cultural immersion programs.
